D is Beautiful

This is a page purely dedicated to documenting every moment in the Vampire Hunter D books that the reader is in some way reminded that D is beautiful. Whether that be through description, or the words/actions of other characters.
Obvious warning of potential spoilers.
I will be updating this page as I continue to read through the books. Hopefully it will service as a bit more motivation to keep reading.
Fun fact: in the movie Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, D is called beautiful twice by two different characters.
Not fun fact: in the 1985 anime OVA adaptation of the first book in the series, all of the male beauty present in the book had been ignored or cut out. Rei-Ginsei's beauty was actually kind of really a part of his character, thanks lads.
Note: I hadn't kept track of the page numbers of the first batch of quotes, oops.

She had lost herself in the beauty of the unmasked youth, with his thick, masculine eyebrows, smooth bridge of a nose, and tightly drawn lips that manifested the iron strength of his will.
Set amid stern features shared only by those who had come through the numerous battles of a grief-ridden world, his eyes harbored sorrow even as they sparkled.
That final touch made this crystallized beauty the image of youth incarnate, chiseled, as it were, by nature itself, perfect and complete.

"I'm a dhampir."
The girl's face froze. This gorgeous man couldn't be... But come to think of it, he was too gorgeous...

The boy, who'd been sneaking peeks at D even as he spoke with his sister, now smiled knowingly at her.
"Say, he's a looker, ain't he? So, this is how you like 'em, eh, Sis?"

And then the eyes of every man focused on the gorgeous youth in black who stood blocking the front door, ...

The count was ready to explode with rage at the words his daughter--gazing with sleepy, painfully lustful eyes at the motionless D--had said.

For the first time, a look of surprise surfaced in D's handsome but normally expressionless countenance.

"If he can escape from there with naught but a sword and the power of his limbs, I shall devote myself to him body and soul. By the eternal life and the ten thousand bloody years of the history of the Nobility, I swear I love him--I love the Vampire Hunter D."

(maybe this isnt exactly a reminder that hes beautiful but i want to include this since i strongly relate to love of D)
No, most likely it wasn't her instinct that caught it, but rather the work of something firmly etched in a deeper part of her: the visage of a young man more beautiful and more noble than Rei-Ginsei.

... no hint of tension or fretfulness in the shining, handsome face that seemed to make the darkness retreat.

... it wasn't the fact that the dashing young man before them seemed to recognized them for what they truly were ...

"He's a fine specimen, sisters."
The whispers from the head on the right sounded deeply impressed, and she licked her lips. Her red flame of a tongue was slim, and the tip was forked. "At long last, we have a man worthy of our pleasuring. And not just a pretty face either--look at how muscular he is."

"We can break your bones whenever it suits us," the oldest sister said, her red eyes ablaze as she stared at D's face. The fire in her eyes was an inferno of lust.
"But you're such a gorgeous man. Such a well-proportioned man." Her tongue licked D's cheek.
"Verily. Lo these past three centuries we've not seen one so beautiful."

... and the hot breath spilling from their vermilion lips threatened to melt D's frostily gorgeous visage.

Now, as his gorgeous countenance returned to the cool mountain spring it always was ...

Beyond Dan's face, another face flickered. Colder than that of the Count, a visage so exquisite it gave her goose bumps.

All the women, however, looked like they would swoon as they watched him go by, and given how beautiful he was, that came as little surprise.

However, he showed no sign of dismounting as he lifted his beautiful visage and grimaced at the sun listing westward from the center of the sky.
...
... for an instant, a certain expression rose on his oh-so-proper countenance, and then it was gone.

"Dear lord..."
The beauty of his foe left Rei-Ginsei shocked... and envious.

Nevertheless, the gorgeous young man before him didn't look at him or change his stance.

Or rather, toward something looming from the trees to her back. A figure of unearthly beauty.

Then the Langs saw a smile spread across D's face. For years after, even for decades after, the two of them would remember D's expression, and take pride in the fact that they were responsible for it.

(a smile so beautiful, important, and perfect that the memory of it becomes a fricking family heirloom)
